PasteLink for Jira processes Jira work-item information only when a user asks it to validate or create issue links.
Information processed
During an operation, PasteLink temporarily processes the anchor issue key and summary, pasted values, parsed issue keys, issue summaries, configured Jira link types, existing anchor links, and execution statuses.
Storage and sharing
PasteLink does not persist Jira data. It does not use Forge storage, an external database, external analytics, or external network services. Jira REST requests are made through Atlassian Forge and Jira Cloud using the permissions of the interacting user.
Permissions
PasteLink requests read:jira-work and write:jira-work only. It does not request Jira administration, user-profile, email, or external-network access.
